Well it’s off to MYTHE BARN in Warwickshire, in the East Midlands for today’s wedding of Scott and Chloe.
It was a glorious day at this works year wedding venue, I knew the wedding couple would be chilled out and relaxed as they were friends with MYTHE BARN’s wedding coordinator and I was given my clear instructions to do a good job or I’ll be in trouble.
As I arrived at MYTHE BARN the Gardner was mowing the lawns and the fresh grass smell amongst the heat of the mind sun put me in a great mood for this glorious wedding.
While the female bridal party will be in beautified the guys turned up in black dickie bows and suits, they really did look handsome crew, once the groomsmen turned up on time which meant I should get I can get some really nice images of them and I’m really pleased with how they photographs came out.
After an emotional Wedding service, couple enjoyed celebratory champagne and canapés and relax with their guests. After about half an hour, spent about 15 minutes getting some wedding portraits of the couple we had such a good laugh and I think that shows in the images, we then spent the next 15 minutes taking a few little family photographs, I’m one of the few photographers, that loves this time, it’s nice to put Family members together and probably for the first time in their lives they have a really good laugh while having some wedding images taken, I love the banter between myself and the wedding couples family especially the oldies and the mums and dads, I love to see people relax, as the wedding really is a family celebration, not a photo shoot.
After more relaxation, it’s often a beautiful meal, put together by the wonderful Galloping Gourmet, out of all the venues I visit I have to say the galloping gourmet put on the most beautiful food, not only in taste but in presentation.
As the sun starts to go down the lights around the MYTHE BARN wedding venue becomes golden, and it gives me the opportunity to capture the guests relaxing and enjoying this perfect wedding day.
I always promised myself that if I was going to be a wedding photographer that it is important that I made the day relaxing and stress free so I can enjoy my work and intern the couples are set free to enjoy their day be with their guests and look back on the images with the memories of the most relaxing wedding possible, with Chloe and Scott they made this very easy, they too had a plan, of how they wanted to feel on their wedding day, and I’m sure you can see this in the wedding pictures.
As with most weddings I capture some evening images, and then onto the first wedding dance and some dancing photographs of the guests throwing some shapes and embarrass themselves on the dance floor.
