Catherine & Andy decided on Wroxall Abbey in Warwickshire for their Wedding Day, Now what little story can I say about these two! well to be honest the story tells itself! These two told me they were camera shy, cause you are, and I’m Brad Pitt! I loved photographing them as they were like to cheshire cats, with their beaming smiles! Out of this little selection from their winter Wedding, the two images that stood out for me, was the love between the daughters and their dad, the image with the father and his daughter who was bridesmaid, for me is a really important part of the wedding story, as she was so emotional to see her sister having her first dance and it really made my heart melt, to see such love amongst this beautiful family! Catherine’s image with her dad, preparing to meet her husband to be at Wroxall Abbey Church, really makes me glow, as a father I see the importance of this image!Catherine and her mad bridesmaids with their X Rated Girl Guide camp songs, made everyone in the bridal room, close to tears with laughter, Catherine you are beautiful inside and out, you have an amazing spirit!
Andy (the Groom) had his own story to tell! during our pre wedding shoot in leamington spa, he called me a “legend” because he loved his images so much and enjoyed the process of having them taken! Now this man i a paramedic in birmingham, and his day to day working is simply jaw dropping, what he sees and what he has to put up with, is beyond most of our comprehension. As Part of his Grooms speech he grabbed his guitar and san a song he composed himself, and this man calls me a legend! Catherine and Andy you are such nice people it was a pure pleasure to capture your day, and I truly hope our paths cross sometime soon! (but nothing to do with work Andy, I like you, but not enough for you to give me the kiss of life)
I also need to mention the wonderful Daniel Yates that captured their day on video, I have worked with Daniel many times at weddings and I love the way, he works seamlessly with myself to capture his footage, I always have a little smile when he is attending the same wedding, because of the banter we have!
