Article by Lee Glasgow

Some might disagree with this next statement, but I feel I have grown up a little! I need a business and I need wedding couples to commission myself to capture they’re wedding, I’m just like everyone else, I need money, I don’t fancy being a struggling artist! I have financial needs ;@> But along with this need, I am completely committed to capturing a wedding couples family and friends while capturing the real essence of they’re wedding day! Gone has my ego along with my needs, I am driven by the whole idea of creating a family’s history in my images, I want my couples in 30 years time to have huge smiles on their faces at the memories the images provoke! There is a number of things in my life that drives me towards this goal, if you are that bored, you can ask me about it over a coffee!Ok enough of my drivel lets move onto the spring wedding of Kirsten and Oliver! Their wedding day took place at Barnsdale lodge, Rutland Water, Leicestershire! I simply loved their venue along with the staff and the marquee, the texture on the ceiling of the marquee with the fabric was simply beautiful as the light hits it, creating this lovely texture, along with the natural fields behind! This wedding had so much of a story, of a family that has been forged together, it really effects how i feel about my work and my own family! Kirsten and Oliver were the perfect couple, Two people madly in love, who’s only expectation of their wedding day was to have a fun and relaxing time! This was mission completed, I hope you love their little wedding collection at Barnsdale lodge, Leicestershire.
