My love for photography is very simple - I love the relationship between me and my clients, and the most important element of this relationship is fun. Not only am I a wedding photographer but I also provide photography services for bridal portraits, family lifestyle shots and any personal projects you may have. My photography services are provided throughout Nottinghamshire, Warwickshire, Leicestershire as well as further a field.

If you are in the mindset that having your photograph taken is simply a game, a chance to chill out and relax, then you won't even realise I have a camera! When this happens, you'll discover that image-making is simply a pleasure and beautiful images will follow.

As a professional portrait and wedding photographer, I believe what stops people from having beautiful images is themselves. You have to invest a little time and the benefits are huge. You are never too fat or too shy. You are perfect exactly the way you are.

We are all capable of being beautiful, we just need to feel confident. And that's where I come in. I will sell my soul to make you laugh and smile to create beautiful photography that you will be proud of.

I am able to cover a variety of locations, although my immediate areas are throughout the Midlands covering Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Warwickshire as well as the surrounding areas.

When A “Thank You” comes, it makes me feel warm!

Well it will be rude for me not to share!
I am sure you will do really well with the photography business, your beautiful images speak for themselves; I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to others. There were no cheesy Christmas movies watched in the Wardle household on Christmas afternoon, it was photo DVD, a few glasses of vino and an ample supply of Andrex all the way! My Mum and Dad also adored the photos and asked us to make sure that we passed on their thanks to you for taking such great shots, they loved the slide show and the music you used and thoroughly enjoyed re-living the day. Aaron & Vicki, Leicestershire at Rothley Court in the east midlands.

Just sat & watched the dvd again & we are just over whelmed at how beautiful our wedding images are. You’ve captured the whole day so perfectly for us to cherish forever! Love you ;@) Julia & Adam, Leicestershire at Kilworth House in the east midlands.

Wedding of Jodie and David at the New Hall Hotel, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands

wedding photographer warwickshireWell here is the summary of my first wedding for 2012, This is the wedding of Jodie and David at New hall hotel in Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands. I met Jodie at the Belfry Wedding Fair last year she came to see me as her mum who owns a bridal shop recommended me to her, Obviously her mother is a woman with taste ;@)
The wedding took place in the Greater Chamber where King Henry VIII once slept, the ceiling and the chandleries were stunning as soon as I saw these features, I knew these had to be included in the couple’s wedding images. Jodie and David for me were perfect they were chilled, relaxed and had their sights on one thing and that was to have a fantastic wedding, The New Hall Hotel had the framework for a good wedding, but it was the wedding couples family and friends that made this a beautiful wedding, and I can not finish without mentioning the children at the wedding the children added an extra layer of meaning and a gave the wedding a real sense of a family celebration, The images of the children say’s it all for my, I absolutely love them, the image of the boys running only was captured because the boy at the front shouted “Hey take our picture” I’m so glad he did as the children’s face’s for me summed up Jodie and David’s weddings, sheer fun and a family celebration.

The Wedding of Julia and Adam at Kilworth House New Years Eve

Beautiful Leicestershire Wedding venueThe Wedding of Julia and Adam at Kilworth House, In Leicestershire in the heart of the east midlands http://www.kilworthhouse.co.uk/.
With this stunning venue on this magical New Years Eve, mixed in with a  couple who’s soul intention was to have a party to be remembered, Mission accomplished!
The whole Wedding party, laughed, cried, eat (and some), danced, drank and  partied from the moment the day started to the early hours of the morning.
Around one o’clock we left the stunning Kilworth house Orangery and waved goodbye to the totally entertaining http://paulmartyn.co.uk/ who certainly did  entertain us all day and night, I would highly recommend him for any future wedding couples.
We then headed down to Kilworth house Cellar bar to sing and relax on the comfy leather sofa’s, drink various shots and pick away at a mountain of cheeses.
Julia is a good friend of ours, I have photographed her family a number of times over the years, Julia and her new husband  Adam could not have been  anymore perfect as wedding hosts, they thanked me many times throughout the day and even thanked me during the wedding speeches. I have to say to you both, thank you for giving me the opportunity to capture the atmosphere and celebration of your most spectacular wedding day, the images will be stunning as the occasion was stunning and the images will only reflect that! I have to mention the staff at Kliworth House who looked after us all so much keeping in mind this was News Years Eve, you could hear the wedding guests  talking throughout the day and night, remarking on the Venue, staff and of  coarse its food! What a way to end my Wedding Photography Year, Simply Perfect!

Thank you’s are more valuable than money (I still want paying thou ;@>)

I have just received this lovely email from a couple that married at Scalford Hall in Leicestershire (the one where the Groom had an Identical twin and the mum had a fairy’s front door on the skirting board), so I thought, I must share it, as many new wedding clients fail to see the true value in what I do and opt for, on the face of it the slightly cheaper option, missing out on a life time of stunning images of their wedding day.
This really made me smile and its these type of emails that makes my career one of the best.
Hope you’re ok and ready for christmas!  I just wanted to say how I was so overwhelmed by our AMAZING images. I cant stop looking at them, and moved my friend to tears when i showed her last night.
Thank you so much for all your hard work.
Kindest Regards Rachel x

Vicki & Arrons winter wedding

Vicki added plenty of warmth into her winter wedding with her groom Aaron
with a sumptuous red wedding dress. Vicki started her wedding day at the Belmont
Hotel In Leicester, She wanted a hotel room with a huge bay window to make her
Bridal transformation, so Aaron  was handed the task to hunt for track one down,
and It has to be said the boy did good!
The wedding ceremony and reception was also held in Leicestershire at
Rothley Court in the east midlands. The wedding couple treated their guests to
live music from the Atlantics, a local Leicestershire band, that played some
classic Indie anthems which got most of the guests dancing, I even threw some
middle age moves myself. Vicki and Aaron  also treated their guests to a casino
with a roulette and a poker table. Their wedding had all the elements for a fun,
the family and guest certainly did their bit to make this occasion a beautiful
one.

Rachel amd William’s Wedding Day at Scalford Hall, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire

Rachel’s day started at her parents home in Grantham, Lincolnshire.
At first glance this beautiful family home is normal, but as you spend some time here you start to notice that there are strange things afoot, at first I noticed a little chicken sheltering in an alcove in the garden wall, then as the eagle eyed of you might have noticed, there is a little door on the skirting board in the family …lounge, Imagine how foolish I felt as I asked what it was, to be told by the brides mum it’s the fairy’s front door! “so fairies live here” I asked, “yes, why else would we have a fairies front door ?” came the reply? ANYWAY back to the wedding! After a lovely morning of champagne and bacon sandwiches, Rachel made her transformation from a bed head look into a beautiful bride to be. We then headed off to St Deny’s Church in Goadby Marwood, Leicestershire for their Wedding ceremony, then it was off to Scalford Hall, Melton Mowbray, in leicestershire for their wedding breakfast. We were all treated to some fab music from Maslow a Leicestershire band! Now those that know me, will know me, will know I’m easily confused, so imagine my horror to see that William has an Identical twin brother, the only way to tell them apart was that they had different boutonnière’s, so I kept saying to myself Red Flower Red Flower, I about died when the best man said that they changed their flowers just for fun!, not funny, not funny at all! I think it’s fair to say that Rachel and William are not the kind of people to be the center of attention, a bit like myself ;@) and it would also be fair to say as a farmer the Groom’s dad was quite a shy and private person, so I was overjoyed when William came upto me and conveyed that his dad loved how I worked and that I really made him feel at ease. I really want everyone at a wedding to have a great time, so this really made me feel warm and fuzzy. Rachel and William make a perfect married couple, they made my job as a wedding photographer so easy. I know that they will treasure each other for a lifetime and I wish them a lifetime of happiness.

This Weekend

Had a lovely meeting with fab friend of mine who has always supported my photography work, we met at Kilworth house Leicestershire to discuss her new year eve wedding this year, its going to be a beautiful wedding and im looking forward to creating her some creative and beautiful images for her. Tomorow im whizzing round the county and ending up at Scalford Hall in Melton Mowbray for a full wedding, looking forward to doing my thing!

Stacy and Adam at Ashton Lodge Hotel, Warwickshire.

Ashton Lodge Hotel, Warwickshire http://www.ashtonlodgehotel.co.uk/ was Stacy and Adam’s chosen wedding venue. I have never been to Ashton Lodge before but after a fab chat with the owner I’m looking forward to learning more about this wedding venue as I found the venue and the staff refreshing friendly almost as refreshing as the champagne. Stacy and Adam came to me after a recommendation from a wedding I photographed last year, which I guess is one of the best ways to win new clients. Now I have to say Stacy’s dress was absolutely stunning, it really was a fairytale wedding dress and she really had the figure to wear it, now I’m no fashion designer, as they are all camp! and I’m so far away from being camp ;@) as well you know! But along with her white faux fur bridal stole she looked like a stunning winter princess. Adam was the perfect Groom he went with the flow and helped me create some beautiful wedding images in of coarse a manly way, thank you guys for letting me share your day and capturing some classic images that will last you a life time.

Wedding at Ashton Lodge Hotel in the the village of Stretton Under Fosse, Warwickshire.

Looking forward to tomorrows wedding at Ashton Lodge Hotel in warwickshire http://www.ashtonlodgehotel.co.uk/home.asp?section=home I have never been to this venue and after a couple of weeks without a camera in my hand, Im raring to go and to capture some beautiful images of Stacy and Adam, Stacy explained that just before the Wedding ceremony she would like 15 miniutes with her husband to be, so they can compose themselves for a life time together, she has asked if I can be there for that precious moment and to capture the emotions as her husband to be sees her for the first time in her wedding dress, I belive this is going to be an emotional one, I will of course be  sharing some of my favourite images with you.

Value your Family

After looking through my last wedding, I saw the love between dad and his daughter, daughter and her grandma, son and his mum and brother and his sister. It got me thinking about my own family, the people I take for granted and yet they are always there for me! So the soppy text below is a reminder to you, my fake cyber friends to stop and think about your own families.
We all take images of our children without even thinking about it, but do me a massive favour, this Christmas, take images of all your family, young and old and even the slightly fat 40 year olds with the tacky Christmas hats and the Christmas jumper, also don’t hog the camera, pass it to someone else, so they in turn can capture you. Then after Christmas instead of storing the images on a hard disc, get them printed and throw them into one of those empty sweet tins that you have all filled your face with. Put the lid on and throw it into the loft! In years to come you will open that tin, the images inside will be far more valuable than any gift you are likely to receive this Christmas. Your terrible snapshots will be transformed into a memory lane of your families social history to pass on to the next generation!
Share this link, as I belive to many people don’t value images of their family until its to late. copywrite www.leeglasgowphotography.co.uk

Engagement shoot at Scalford Hall

As part of my wedding package, I always aim to have an engagement shoot with the wedding couple, its an important part of my photographic recipe so come their wedding day they can cross this off their list of things to worry about. Rachel and William have chosen Scalford Hall near Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire for their wedding location, we decided to meet at Scalford hall for the engagement shoot, we had a walk around Scalford grounds and took some images of this lovely couple as well as their cute working dog who was really well behaved. After we finished our little shoot we sat down over a pot of tea and talked through their wedding day plans.

Sheena and Pauls wedding at Ettington Park near Stratford upon Avon

Sheena and Paul choose Ettington Park, Alderminster, Stratford Upon Avon for their Wedding ceremony and Wedding breakfast, and what a perfect choice of venue this was, now I asked the Ettington Park staff if they had a little info about this Historic Mansion to which they gave me eight A4 sheets of small type telling me all about this spectacular neo-Gothic mansion with its mid victorian Gothic exterior near stratford upon avon in the picturesque Stour Valley. In summary thou I would describe it as bloody lovely, the grounds the house and the church are a photographers dream. We had to work fast today as the weather was being very dramatic, one minute the sun was shining the next the thunder was, well it was thundering! then the heavens would open and everyone would run for cover trying to avoid the huge rain drops, only for the sun to re appear, I was not overly worried about this as Ettington house had some well lit areas under cover that made perfect little photographic studios. Sheena and Paul have been a perfect wedding couple to photograph who really care about the people around them. I’m looking forward to editing their images and giving them some beautiful wedding images, that they can treasure forever.

Louise and Thomas Brooksby Hall, Brooksby, In Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire Wedding

Louise and Thomas chose Brooksby Hall, Brooksby, In Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire for their Wedding venue, the morning started off at their beautiful home, it’s like something from location, Location location or a programme similar, you get the idea! I quickly made friends with the bridesmaids ;@) and we had a real laugh, I asked each of them, “what was their story?” I wanted some good old fashioned gossip, something I could tease them with throughout the wedding day and they didn’t let me down. I also learnt from Louise how a real woman applies her perfume, It’s not something I can share on here but it did reduce me to tears of laughter, mind you I had just had some bucks fizz. The Wedding Ceremony was lovely and I managed to capture some beautiful images thanks to the natural window light and thanks to the Leicestershire Registrars that let us wedding photographers capture these life long wedding memories unlike the Warwickshire Registrars! Shame on you lol! enough said!
Louise and Thomas looked perfect together, and every now and again, Thomas would say God she is beautiful, I’m sure she gets more beautiful every time I see her. Louise created a beautiful vintage look for her wedding breakfast room, with her own made bunting, vintage cups and saucers, along with english countryside flowers and table decorations. It looked simply beautiful. Louise and Thomas will have a lovely collection of wedding images, because they were totally relaxed  and totally in love.

Mariam and Arron’s Leicestershire wedding at Halstead House

Mariam and Arron’s Leicestershire wedding was always going to be joy to photograph for many reasons, first of all they had their wedding at a venue I love called Halstead house (http://www.halsteadhouse.co.uk) in Tilton-on-the-hill in Leicestershire, in the heart of the east midlands, the second reason is, these two were so easy to photograph, this was the third time I have photographed Mariam and the second time I have photographed Arron in the run upto their wedding, I find them both easy subjects to capture the fact that they are besotted with each other and frustratingly good looking made the Job all the more enjoyable. As if this wasn’t enough for any wedding photographer, I wasn’t their to photograph one wedding ceremony as Mariam is Iranian so after the official English Ceremony, we went outside and enjoyed the rituals of an Iranian wedding ceremony in an Idylic English setting.

Kat and Pete’s wedding at Packington Moor in Lichfield, Stafordshire

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the wedding of Kat and Pete at Packington Moor (http://www.packingtonmoor-events.co.uk/index.htm) in Lichfield, Stafordshire, this is a stunning venue in a beautiful location, One of the many reasons I love being a wedding photographer is being invited to new locations, wedding venues and meeting fab suppliers and staff that can deliver their products professionally and more importantly with big genuine smiles on their faces. Kat and Pete contacted me after I attended a wedding a few weeks before at the belfry in sutton coldfield. They were badly let down by their original photographer so I was only to pleased to step in, It was a testament to their character that they put this issue to one side and didn’t give it a second thought as they enjoyed their wedding day. I found their family and friends so friendly that once again, I had to remind myself that I was here to work. I’m looking forward to completing Kat and Pete’s wedding images, because they are a lovely couple that deserve a great set of wedding images that record their perfect wedding day.

Louise and Thomas at their wedding venue Brooksby Hall, Leicestershire

I met Louise and Thomas at their wedding venue Brooksby Hall (http://www.brooksbyhall.co.uk/) in Melton Mowbray, Leicester, Leicestershire for their pre wedding photoshoot. After capturing a few images and lovely walk around the grounds of Brooksby Hall, we chatted about their wedding day, so I could get a feel of what sort of images they both wanted. I also learned that Louise makes bunting and she is busy making lots of it for decorating her wedding venue.

Pre Wedding photoshoot at Abbey park in Leicester

I had a wonderful pre wedding photo-shoot with Marriam and Arron at Abbey park in Leicester, Leicestershire, we had a pre wedding meeting in the tea rooms at Abbey park and then we walked around the park and captured some gorgeous images of them both, I have to say thou these guy’s made it all too easy, I’m sure they were smoldering! I’m only jealous of their young good looks. After our little shoot we parked are bums under the summer sun and shared some ice creams. Sometimes my chosen career is very stressful.

Boudiour Wedding Photography

Marriam as part of her wedding package wanted some beautiful images of herself to present to her husband to be as a surprise, between the two of us we manage to create a collection of images that have style and beauty running through the heart of them.
